Neurologic Physical and Occupational Therapy

Getting Started

The first appointment will be an evaluation completed by one of our physical or occupational therapists.

During this session, the therapist will assess the patient using both subjective and objective measures to develop a personalized treatment plan. This plan will include a home exercise program and tailored education to address the patient's specific needs.

Treatment

Follow-up sessions are built upon the initial evaluation, with adjustments made based on the patient's progress and goals.

The therapist works closely with the patient and their family to refine and progress the home exercise program, focusing on building confidence, strength, and independence in achieving functional goals.

Programming

The length of each patient's plan of care is determined by the complexity of their medical condition.

Patients with more complex or progressive diagnoses, or multiple comorbidities, will generally require a longer treatment plan. In contrast, individuals needing less intensive intervention, such as updated education or a home exercise program, may have a shorter plan of care.
