PWR! Moves

PWR stands for Parkinson Wellness Recovery and is a treatment program developed specifically for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. It was developed by Becky Farley, the same person who helped create LSVT Big. The PWR! Moves address four key areas that tend to decline in individuals with Parkinson’s including anti-gravity extension, weight shifting, axial mobility, and transitions. These moves are done in five different positions to help improve function while also working on posture, strength, balance, flexibility, cognitive challenges, and big amplitude movements.
